Erbil… Supporting the National Referral Mechanism

Today, December 10, 2023, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, Srwa Rasul, Director General of EJCC in the Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Yotaka Izaki, Executive Director of Toyota, Dr. Yoko Fujimura, President of the International Organization for Migration, and Naz Jalal, Director of Erbil Governorate Crisis Coordination Center, attended the certificate awarding ceremony on a number of returnees who returned to the Kurdistan region who had received training abroad in collaboration with Toyota.
 

This initiative is part of efforts to establish a National Referral Mechanism developed by the Kurdistan Regional Government's Ministry of Interior in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration. Initially, the system was implemented in Erbil, which includes relevant government agencies, organizations, and agencies to integrate returnees into the community.
 

The significance of this mechanism is that, for the first time in Erbil's capital, the private sector is supporting the National Referral Mechanism. In this regard, the governor commended Toyota and the International Organization for Migration. He praised their efforts and agenda for assisting returnees.
