Erbil… Italian Universities Open Archaeological Exhibition

On Monday, April 29, 2024, an archaeology exhibition was inaugurated by Italian universities in Erbil. Sasan Awni, Minister of Municipalities and Tourism, Hemn Qadir, Deputy Governor representing the Governor of Erbil, the Italian Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, along with foreign ambassadors and organizations in Erbil, were in attendance at the opening ceremony.
 

The exhibition documented the archaeological projects carried out by experts from Italian universities in some historical and ancient areas of the Kurdistan Region and have reached worthy results, this underscores the enduring vitality of the land and civilization in the Kurdistan Region, which have been present since ancient times.
