Message from the Governor of Erbil on the Occasion of the Hijri New Year "1447"

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

On the occasion of the Hijri New Year "1447," and the anniversary of the noble Prophetic Migration (Hijra) from Mecca to Medina, we extend our warmest congratulations and blessings to all Muslims in Iraq and the world, and especially to the people of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

We ask God Almighty to make this a year of goodness, blessing, peace, and prosperity for the people of Kurdistan, and for security, stability, and tranquility to prevail throughout our region and the entire world.

Once again, we congratulate everyone on this great occasion. Happy New Year.
