Erbil… Turkmen Language and Culture Day

After the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has declared November 17 as the Turkmen Language and Culture Day. Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, with the participation of the Minister of Education, the Secretary of the Kurdistan Parliament and several other political figures, held a ceremony.

It is worth mentioning that the general directorate of Turkmen houses of the Ministry of Culture in Erbil commemorates the Day of Turkmen Language and Culture with some activities, and this year, with the participation of a number of political figures, artists, Turkmen citizens and other nations, the commemoration of that day was celebrated, and several speeches were presented, and a number of activists, educators and personalities were awarded.
