Erbil Governor chaired a meeting of the Traffic Organization and Development Committee

This evening, Wednesday December 14, 2022. Chaired by Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil and in the presence of Massoud Karash, Deputy Governor, the Central Mayor, head of Erbil Municipality, Director of Erbil Traffic Police and a number of other officers of Erbil Traffic, Directors of all six municipalities, Directorate Parks and Gardens, in the governor's office, a meeting of the committee to organize and develop traffic was held. The meeting discussed the decisions and recommendations of the previous meeting and focused on the development and improvement of the traffic system in Erbil and the organization and repair of streets and sidewalks in the city and those places that need repair.

The meeting also emphasized on solving all the main places and streets that have been overcrowded in several parts of Erbil and drowned due to the large number of vehicles. For this purpose, the Governor instructed all relevant parties to coordinate with each other and through a joint committee with the central governor's office to resolve the issue.

Finally, in order to organize and develop traffic, a number of requests and suggestions were presented by the Erbil Traffic Directorate, after discussion and evaluation by the participants, the governor instructed the Presidency of Erbil Municipality and the Erbil Traffic Directorate to follow up and study these requests.
