Congratulatory message of the Governor of Erbil on the occasion of the New Year

In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

On the occasion of the New Year, I express heartfelt congratulations to the Kurdish people in general, and Erbil in particular, the brave Peshmergas, and the proud families of the martyrs. I hope the coming year brings happiness and betterment to citizens' lives. Despite the fact that 2023 was a challenging year due to the financial crisis, it was also a year of accomplishments in terms of providing services and servicing citizens, we commit to continuing our track record of reaching various locations in Erbil province through development projects, just as we have in previous years.
 

In the upcoming year, our focus remains on equitable service delivery without discrimination, prioritizing the center of the city, villages, districts, subdistricts, particularly in underprivileged neighborhoods and areas with limited access to services.
 

Our aim is to serve citizens, providing essential services, and safeguarding the security, peace, and well-being of the capital and its residents.
 

Happy New Year once again, may it bring peace, prosperity, and blessings to everyone.
