Funnkawari Music Concert Held at the Erbil Citadel

On Wednesday evening april 17, 2024, in the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, a number of consuls and envoys of countries, the representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in France and a large number of citizens, artists and art lovers, a concert featuring the melody of Funnkawari, blending Kurdish and international music rhythms, was held at Erbil Citadel in collaboration with Ava Media.
 

This event aimed to preserve Kurdish music, develop and introduce Kurdish folk art and culture, and integrate them with world music. The concert showcased a variety of Kurdish and international music pieces intertwined with original Kurdish folk songs.
