Erbil... Second International Day of Persons with Disabilities Festival Held

This evening, Tuesday, December 2, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, attended the second festival dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, in the presence of the Deputy Director General of Youth, the Director of Youth Sports in Erbil, and a number of various social groups.
 

The Governor of Erbil, while commending the organizers of the festival, congratulated them on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and emphasized that persons with disabilities deserve appreciation and that caring for them is a duty and a right.
 

He also reiterated the support of Erbil Governorate for persons with disabilities and stated that the Kurdistan Regional Government is making serious efforts to provide services to society in general and to persons with disabilities.
 

It is worth mentioning that December 3rd of every year is known as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities worldwide, and the day is commemorated with various activities.
