In Erbil... Job Fair Opened

Today, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, with the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Zana Malakhalid, Head of Branch 2, the President of Salahaddin University, and a significant number of other governmental and administrative officials, university professors, and students, the Career Development and Entrepreneurship Center (CDC) of Salahaddin University, in cooperation with (Sukkal App), opened a job fair at the University's Cultural and Academic Center.

This exhibition, which saw the participation of more than 50 local and international companies and institutions and displayed the products of more than 40 young entrepreneurs, created more than 300 job opportunities. Companies conducted direct interviews with students during the fair.
 

The main goal of the exhibition is to create opportunities for students and connect job seekers with employers. After opening and visiting the exhibition sections, the Governor of Erbil highly praised Salahaddin University's step towards solving the problem of unemployment and creating job opportunities for students and youth. He also commended the supervisors and participants of the exhibition and expressed hope that the exhibition would be a factor in creating more job opportunities and reducing the unemployment rate, which is one of the strategies of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
