The governor of Erbil chaired a meeting of the Municipalities

Today, Sunday, January 8, 2023. Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw chaired a meeting of the municipalities in the presence of Hemin Qadir and Massoud Karash, Deputies of Governor, The meeting was attended by the Erbil Central Mayor, Head of the Erbil Municipality, Deputy of the Head of Erbil Municipality, Director of Parks and Gardens Engineering, Director of Sami Abdulrahman Park, Directors of all six Municipalities and Director of Environmental Services of Erbil, the governor, after presenting the main points of the meeting, thanked the Presidency of Erbil Municipality and all Municipal directorates for the implementation of service projects last year, which is within the framework of the governorate development budget and On the 15% revenue of the Presidency of Erbil Municipality, good work was done and very good service projects were provided to citizens in all municipalities.
 

Then the plans and service projects for 2023 were discussed and the preparations were reviewed and necessary decisions were taken. In another topic of the meeting, discussed the development, improvement and organization of the streets of the city and markets and national markets in general and focused on the organization of sidewalks and the places and streets that are very crowded in several parts of Erbil this is while emphasizing the continuity of the campaign to prevent violations and remove excesses.

Finally, the participants expressed their opinions and comments on several important issues related to serving the citizens and providing necessary services by the Municipalities of Erbil, emphasis was placed on resuming the implementation of service projects equally and without discrimination for this year.
