Erbil Governor: All service offices in Erbil governorate have been put on alert to deal with floods

Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, in the presence of the Deputy Governors, Assistant Governor and Erbil Central Mayor, he chaired a meeting of service teams and committees prepared to deal with the possibility of floods in Erbil. In the meeting, the governor of Erbil presented the forecast of heavy rains in Erbil and the preparations of the governorate for this issue, he also praised the work and efforts of the service teams in Erbil, who tirelessly worked day and night for the past few months to prepare for the possibility of floods and prevent damage to citizens. The governor also stressed that each area takes a serious responsibility to protect its borders in the event of floods. In another topic, the governor stressed the provision of cleaning equipment to easily control the situation. For this purpose, he considered it necessary to raise awareness among citizens through the media and social media to deal with the situation carefully and avoid the dangers.

The governor also said that an operation room has been prepared in the governorate and will be present in the governorate on Friday and will be ready as a rescue team for any unexpected event.
