The Governor of Erbil congratulates Christians on the occasion of Easter and Akitu

On the occasion of the Feast of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), the New Year and the Akitu holidays, I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings to the Christian brothers and sisters in Kurdistan, Iraq and the world, and the capital Erbil in particular, and may they enjoy a joyful and prosperous holiday season.

During this momentous occasion, we underscore the importance of fostering a culture of coexistence, brotherhood, and harmony among all national and religious groups in Kurdistan. We aspire to perpetuate and enhance the spirit of tolerance, unity, and brotherhood among all communities in the region.
