The Media and Information Department's (News Service) project was introduced

This evening, Monday, November 24, 2025, in the presence of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Dr. Abdulhakim Khosraw, Head of the Department of Coordination and Follow-up, Dr. Jutiar Adil, Head of the Department of Media and Information, Falah Hassan, Head of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations, and a significant number of university professors, academics, and media professionals, the Department of Media and Information announced the (News Service) project.
 

At the event, in addition to showcasing the department's activities, the Head of the Department of Media and Information delivered a speech emphasizing the policy and transparency of news dissemination, especially in the Ninth Cabinet's agenda of the Kurdistan Regional Government.
 

It was also announced that the aim of this general technological service project is to further present the transparency, numbers, and data of the government's program through media and information, which in itself will raise the position of the Kurdistan Region in international circles.
 

It is worth mentioning that to strengthen transparency and develop mechanisms of public relations, the Media and Information Department of the Kurdistan Regional Government announced the launch of its proactive program called "News Service."
 

This service, designed for the first time in the Kurdistan Region in cooperation with "Meta" company, is a direct communication platform aimed at providing the latest official information and data to journalists, media institutions, academics, and researchers.
