Erbil.. Commemorating the passing of Abdul Aziz Al-Hakim

On the evening of Saturday, March 16, 2024, the Al-Hikma Movement hosted a ceremony in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region. The event, attended by the representative of the President of the Kurdistan Region, the Governor of Erbil, leaders and representatives of political parties, as well as delegates from foreign missions, commemorated the fifteenth anniversary of the passing of His Eminence Sayyed Abdul Aziz Al-Hakim.
 

During the ceremony, the Governor of Erbil extended a welcome to the attendees and highlighted the significance of the occasion, noting its alignment with the anniversary of the chemical attack on Halabja. This attack stands as one of the most egregious crimes perpetrated by the former Baath regime against the Kurdish population.
