Diyarbakir.. Governor of Erbil visits the Kurdistan Socialist Party

On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, Governor Omed Khoshnaw of Erbil paid a visit to the Kurdistan Socialist Party headquarters in Diyarbakir, where he was warmly welcomed by Bayram Bozel, the party's Chairman, along with several members of the party's administrative body.
 

At the meeting, Governor Omed Khoshnaw of Erbil conveyed greetings on behalf of President Barzani, the President of the Kurdistan Region, and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region.

He emphasized the significance of enhancing bilateral relations and expressed optimism for the revival of the peace process in Turkey, particularly following the recent municipal elections. The Governor of Erbil emphasized that President Barzani consistently underscores the importance of the peace process and ongoing negotiations.

He highlighted that the Kurdistan Regional Government has consistently played a stabilizing role and contributed to the resolution of conflicts in this regard.

He further added, "We hope that all political parties will actively contribute to achieving a peaceful solution and endorse any steps taken in that direction."
