Amed.. Governor of Erbil visits the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Turkey (PDK-T)

During his visit to Diyarbakir on Thursday, May 2, 2024, Governor Omid Khoshnaw of Erbil, along with his accompanying delegation, visited the headquarters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Turkey. They were welcomed by Mehmet Emin Kardas, the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Turkey, and members of the party's political bureau.
 

During the meeting, the head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party extended a warm welcome to the Governor of Erbil, expressing delight at their visit and emphasizing the importance of strengthening and fostering relations.
 

The Governor of Erbil expressed, "As representatives of the Kurdistan Region and Erbil Governorate, we are pleased to be here in our beloved Amed, standing in solidarity with a fellow fighter of our people." He continued, "Your dedicated struggle earns our admiration and respect. With the warm regards and peace from President Barzani, we wish you continued success and urge you to maintain your steadfast commitment to a sound national policy, as we pledged in the past."

In closing, the Governor of Erbil stated, "It is our obligation to support patriots like you, and we urge you to persevere in your struggle as a genuine and influential force in the region, working towards the resumption of the peace process in Turkey. This remains the sole path to resolving the Kurdish issue in Turkey, and every chance for peace and dialogue must be seized without fail."
