Erbil Governor Directs Full Facilitation for Iranian Pilgrims to Iraq's Holy Shrines
On Sunday, June 2, 2024, Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw instructed the relevant authorities to provide all necessary facilities for Iranian Pilgrims coming to Iraq to participate in the Arbaeen ceremonies.
A meeting was held in the governorate’s office, headed by the governor and in the presence of Dr. Hemin Mirani, Director General of the Office of the Ministry of Interior in the Kurdistan Regional Government, and a number of officials, regarding preparations and providing the necessary services for Iranian visitors arriving to the holy shrines in Iraq.
At the meeting, the Governor of Erbil emphasized the importance of ensuring all essential supplies and procedures are in place to facilitate the movement of visitors through the Haj Omran and Tamarchin border crossings. Additionally, providing accommodation, meals, and public services for visitors throughout their stay within the administrative borders of Erbil Governorate was underscored.
