Congratulatory message of the Governor of Erbil on the occasion of the birth of Christ

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

On the occasion of the birth of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), we extend our congratulations to our Christian brothers and sisters in Kurdistan in general and in the capital Erbil in particular.

Once again, we emphasize the importance of and value the historical role of Christian brothers as an integral and authentic part of Kurdish society. We reassure them that the Kurdistan Regional Government remains committed to fostering a culture of peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and the protection of the rights of all communities. Erbil, as always, stands as a distinguished and exemplary symbol of interfaith and ethnic harmony, mutual acceptance, and tolerance among all components of society.
 

Once again, congratulations on this holiday, and we hope it becomes a source of goodness, happiness, strengthening peace and tranquility, and improving the lives and well-being of citizens.
