High-Level Delegation from the State of Bahrain Arrives in Erbil

This afternoon, Monday, February 23, 2026, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, welcomed a high-level delegation from Bahrain at Erbil International Airport, led by Aymen bin Tawfiq Almoayyed, Secretary-General of Bahrain's Supreme Council for Youth and Sports. The guest delegation's visit is part of efforts by the Kurdistan Region and the State of Bahrain to further develop relations.
 

The delegation is expected to hold a number of meetings and discussions with officials from the Kurdistan Regional Government.
