A delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government meets with the Iraqi Prime Minister

A delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government meets with the Iraqi Prime Minister Today, Sunday, February 26, 2023, the Kurdistan Regional Government delegation met in Baghdad with the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani. The delegation of the regional government was headed by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Awat Janab Nuri, and the membership of the Chief of the Cabinet Office, Dr. Omed Sabah, and the head of the Office of Financial Supervision, Khaled Jawashli.

At the meeting, which was attended by the two deputy prime ministers, Dr. Fouad Hussein and Muhammad Tamim, Oil Ministers Hayyan Abdul Ghani, Finance Minister Taif Sami, and Construction and Housing Bankin Rikani, the region's share of the draft general federal budget law for the year 2023 was discussed. The delegations of the two sides reached a preliminary agreement on resolving the problems.
