The President of the Kurdistan Region attends the American National Day celebrations

On Wednesday evening, May 3, 2023, the president of Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, attended the American National Day ceremony that was held in the city of Erbil.

According to the region’s presidency, many officials attended the ceremony held at the Erbil Rotana Hotel, including the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Barbara Leaf, the US Ambassador to Iraq, Alina Romanowski, and US Consul General in the Kurdistan Region Irvin Hicks Jr.
