Diyarbakir.. The Governor of Erbil visits the Kurdish fine artist Gokhan Aslan

As part of his visit to Diyarbakir on Thursday, May 2, 2024, Governor Omed Khoshnaw of Erbil, along with his accompanying delegation, paid a visit to the renowned Kurdish artist Gokhan Aslan.
 

During the meeting, following Aslan's presentation of his works and artistic endeavors, discussions centered around the challenges faced by Kurdish artists and strategies to enhance and foster the overall artistic output of Kurdish creators. There was a particular emphasis on the importance of providing greater support and attention to artists.

The Governor of Erbil, on his part, extended gratitude to the Kurdish artist for his artistic contributions, conveyed best wishes for his ongoing success, and affirmed readiness to offer any necessary assistance for the realization of his artistic endeavors and projects.
 

At the meeting's conclusion, the renowned Kurdish painter Gokhan Aslan gifted one of his paintings to the Governor of Erbil.
