The Governor of Erbil welcomes the new Turkish Ambassador to Iraq at the downtown market in the city

On Wednesday afternoon, September 4, 2024, Omed Khoshnaw, the Governor of Erbil, accompanied by Aydin Maruf, Minister of the Region for Component Affairs, welcomed Anil Bora Inan, the new Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, and the Turkish Consul in Erbil.
 

After visiting the downtown market, Erbil Citadel, and the Sultan Muzaffar ad-Din shrine, the Governor of Erbil congratulated the new Turkish Ambassador to Iraq on his appointment, wished him success in his new role, and stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey.

The Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, in turn, thanked the Governor of Erbil for the warm welcome and expressed his satisfaction with the peace, security, and freedom present in the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
