Erbil: Practical steps to revive the neighborhoods (Tajil, Araban and Khanaqa)

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Sasan Awni, Minister of Municipalities and Tourism and Erbil Governor, Omed Khoshnaw, in the presence of the Deputies of Erbil Governor, chaired a special meeting for neighborhoods (Tajil, Araban and Khanaqa) known as the area (Bafrzon).
The meeting followed up the recommendations of the previous meeting on the same issue and thanked the committees for their work in the issue of settling the Bafrzon area. They emphasized on the methods and mechanisms to overcome the obstacles and exchanged ideas for solutions to the problems facing them. Finally, several decisions were taken to make the work of the neighborhoods (Tajil, Araban and Khanaqa) so that everyone is satisfied. Such as designating an office to run the affairs of the neighborhoods (Tajil, Araban and Khanaqa).
Also, compensation to the victims and practical steps towards investment, building a civil and cultural market and reviving the site as the oldest area of Erbil.
