The foundation stone of the project of concreting the local streets and installing water network for Mam Salan neighborhood was laid in Harir at a cost of more than (400 million dinars)

Today, Saturday, December 31, 2022. Within the framework of programs and plans of development projects in Erbil governorate, under the supervision of Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, the foundation stone of the project of concreting the local streets and installing water network for Mam Salan neighborhood was laid in a ceremony at a cost of (434 million 844 thousand 500 dinars) on the development budget of Erbil governorate. The project will be implemented on a contract basis and the completion period is (300) days.

The ceremony was attended by Massoud Karash, Deputy Governor, Nzar Mala Ghaffar, Member of Kurdistan Parliament, representatives of the 24th Sfen branch of the Party Democratic Kurdistan, Karwan Karim Khan, Shaqlawa District Mayor, the Deputy Director General of Municipalities, the Director of Harir Municipality and a number of other officials of the region were present.

The governor congratulated the citizens of the region for the implementation of this project, stressed that on the recommendation of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the projects will start in places that have less access to prosperity and services.

The governor said: “This year, in addition to the implementation of a large number of service projects in our governorate, in the 2023 program and plan, we have drawn up good plans on the development budget, in addition to Erbil governorate, the revenue of the presidency of the Erbil Municipality, the General Directorate of Municipalities and the special budget. In order to start implementing more service projects, we hope to provide more and better services to Shaqlawa district and its subdistricts and villages in the future.”.
