Erbil Citadel... Opening of the Joyce Blau Library at the French Institute for the Middle East

The ancient Erbil Citadel witnessed on Friday, May 2, 2023, in the presence of the Governor of Erbil, Omed Khoshnaw, and Consul General of the Republic of France to the Kurdistan Region, Olivier Decottignies, President of the Kurdish Institute in France, Dr. Kendal Nezan, and Ali Dolamari, representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in France and a number of university professors in France, the opening of the Joyce Blau Library at the French Institute for the Middle East by the French Consulate General in Erbil, in honor of Mrs. Joyce Blau, founder of the Kurdish Institute in France.

Joyce Blau Library has branches in Beirut in Lebanon, Damascus in Syria and Amman in Jordan, and in honor of Mrs. Joyce Blau, the brave woman and founder of the Kurdish Institute in France, this library was opened in the Citadel of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
