Erbil Governor and FAO Director-General Visit Erbil Citadel

On Monday evening, May 26, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Qu Dongyu, Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), and their accompanying delegation visited the Citadel and toured several historical and cultural sites on the historical and ancient Erbil Citadel, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

The Director-General of the FAO praised the stability and developments of the Kurdistan Region. He also expressed his happiness in visiting the capital Erbil and highly appreciated the work and projects aimed at renovating and preserving ancient and historical sites.
