Congratulatory Message from the Governor of Erbil on the Occasion of the Birth of Prophet (Jesus Christ)

In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

On the occasion of the birth of Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him), we extend our congratulations to our Christian brothers and sisters throughout Kurdistan, and especially in the capital Erbil.

We hope this occasion brings peace and prosperity to everyone. On this occasion, as the Governorate of Erbil, we once again affirm that we view with importance the historical position of our Christian brothers and sisters as an authentic component of Kurdish society. We assure them that the capital Erbil, just as it has been in the past a prominent example and cradle of coexistence between nations and religions, will remain so.
We will continue to support, with all our might, the further advancement of brotherhood, harmony, and coexistence among all diverse nations, religions, and components.
