Erbil... Ceremony for Japan's National Day and Emperor's Birthday Held

This evening, Sunday, February 15, 2026, with the participation of the representative of President Barzani, the Vice Presidents of the Region, the Governor of Erbil, a number of ministers and party and government officials, the Japanese Ambassador, and a number of other high-ranking officials, diplomats, investors, and businessmen, a ceremony for Japan's National Day and the Emperor's Birthday was held in Erbil, the capital.
 

The Governor of Erbil, while congratulating on the Emperor of Japan's birthday, wished continuous success and peace for the people and country of Japan. He stated that Japan is an important country for the Kurdistan Region and emphasized strengthening the relations between the Kurdistan Region and Japan.
