Governor of Erbil participates in the Third Day of the 44th Francophone Cities Conference in Switzerland

Today, Friday, May 24, 2024, Governor Omed Khoshnaw of Erbil participated in the third day of the 44th Francophone Cities Conference in Lausanne, Switzerland. The event was held under the theme "International Cooperation and Local Authorities: A Center for Innovation."
 


On the final day of the conference, in addition to several speeches, discussions focused on developing relationships between cities, collaborative efforts, democracy building, urban reconstruction, and fostering coexistence. Afterwards, several international figures were honored at an award ceremony.

It is noteworthy that the 44th Congress of Francophone Cities, held in Lausanne, Switzerland, with the participation of 500 governors, mayors, and representatives from 50 countries, concluded today.
