Governor of Erbil Receives Sanandaj Girls Group

On Monday, December 22, 2025, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, in the presence of Farhang Ghafour, Director General of Culture and Arts in Erbil, received the Sanandaj Girls Group at the Governorate Diwan.

In the meeting, the Governor of Erbil, while warmly welcoming them to the capital Erbil, highly praised their artistic works and wished them success, expressing his readiness for all cooperation, coordination, and facilitation. Later, the group briefly discussed their artistic works and productions, and a discussion was held about the development of Kurdish art in general, emphasizing the need to give more importance to the artistic innovations of Kurdistan's artists.
