Erbil .... The first International conference of the American College of Surgeons Kurdistan Regional Chapter was held

The first international conference of the American College of Surgeons Kurdistan Regional Chapter was held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, in the presence of Dr. Saman Barzanji, Minister of Health, Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Dr. Dlovan Mohammed, Director General of Health of Erbil, and a large number of doctors, experts, and scientists.
 

The conference addressed the path of medical science, experience, and the exchange of expertise between doctors in the Kurdistan Region and the United States, while disease treatment and management were also discussed.

More than 150 surgeons from Kurdistan, Iraq, Arab countries, Europe, and the United States are attending the two-day conference, which covers a wide range of scientific topics in general surgery, such as cardiovascular, neurological, cerebral, and vascular surgery.
